  • We understand that not every client wants counseling within a biblical perspective. Our clinicians honor the unique needs of each individual, regardless of their faith background.

  • A safe, non-judgmental space to discuss your feelings. Sessions typically involve talking about your concerns, exploring emotions, and learning coping strategies.

  • We will discuss your concerns, goals, and background. It’s a chance to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit.

  • Yes, except in cases of harm to yourself/others or legal requirements.

  • Coverage depends on your insurance plan. We encourage clients to reach out to their provider to confirm what is included and what your out-of-pocket cost will be.

  • Typically 50 minutes, but this may vary.

  • It varies—some benefit from short-term (a few months), while others prefer long-term support. It also depends on the client’s individual goals and progress.

  • Yes! However, we require our initial session to be in person unless the clinician waives this due to extenuating circumstances. In addition, clients who are minors must be a “good candidate” to be seen via Telehealth to ensure therapy goals can be effectively met and progress achieved. Your clinician will assess and inform you if the child meets this expectation.

  • Due to the nature of the center, our clinicians may not be available for emergent needs. If you’re experiencing a mental or medical emergency, please call 911 or 988 for the mental health crisis line.

  • Our policy is to notify your therapist at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time to avoid a missed appointment or late cancellation fee.

  • The most important part of therapy is feeling safe and comfortable with your clinician. If it’s not a good fit, discuss this with your therapist—they can help with a potential referral or you may choose to find another provider who better meets your needs. (Please inform them, as this helps us schedule others in need of support.)

  • Clinical Counseling:
Involves trained professionals using evidence-based psychological techniques to treat emotional, behavioral, or mental health issues. Bound by state laws & ethical codes, the focus of therapy is on diagnosis, treatment planning, and measurable outcomes.

    Pastoral counseling:
Combines spiritual/religious support with basic psychological principles. Integrating faith, theology, and scripture to personal issues.
