The light that shines the brightest
shines from home...
At Crossland, we are a community of refuge and hope for ALL people...that means our neighbor, too.
We've been focusing on LOVING LOCAL for a while now. And just because we can't meet together doesn't mean that
this mission should change.
We've put together some things that you can do to still #LOVELOCAL during this time.
We still want to live out Mark 12:28-31 “...he asked him ‘Of all the commandments, which is the most important?’ ‘The most important one,’ Jesus answered, ‘is this: ’Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.’”
So here's what you can do right now and in the weeks to come:
Be in the word.
Gregg has said, “The light that shines the brightest shines from home.” And right now...this is literal! Dig deep into The Word. You can follow along our Read Through The Bible plan (check out our Facebook Page to see where we are) or join us online for LGS (starting on Tuesday, March 23rd). Share scripture through social media to be a light!
invite your friends!
Our 10 years of multi-site church strategy have proven beyond all doubt the experience through streaming is powerful and life changing. The same God you encounter in our auditoriums will show up in your living room! Invite your friends to tune in live for Sunday morning worship experiences, large group studies, anything! Have everyone watch from home & then FaceTime or call each other to discuss.
drop a postcard.
We've created a postcard that you can download and print at home!
Get the whole family involved in coloring or writing notes to your neighbors just to let them know that you are HERE and willing to help.
All of our neighbors could use prayer right now. It's one of the best things we can do during this time.
We’ve put together a weekly prayer guide that you and the family can do. Just pray. And don’t stop.
